Session At the Farm
How fun this bunch was this summer. What you can’t see in the photos, because I photoshopped them out, was the enormous and unlimited and completely unmerciful mosquitoes all over us. Yeah, my photoshop skills are just THAT.GOOD. Believe me, because we were being eaten alive.
No matter, this was an interesting group to photograph. The boys are totally self-conscious at this age, but the older sister was completely at ease. That is very common for this age group. My own kids went through that stage too (I am waiting for 2 of them to get out of it, even though they are WAY older than these kids).
These two boys lit up though, when we brought out this antique tractor. They had just finished restoring it with their dad. For me, that was first, but as a country girl myself, I can totally appreciate the beauty of this machine. They did a great job and I am sure they will have memories of doing this project with their dad that will last a lifetime.
Just because she looked adorable up there, one with big sister and the tractor too.
It’s great to have updated family portraits, regardless of the age (and cooperative mood) of your kids. It’s even GREATER when you have such a fantastic family moment to celebrate…such as the wonderful restoration of an antique tractor. I was very happy to witness the pride and beauty of that accomplishment.
